I love sharing creative ways to bring families together and grow in their faith. But it can be challenging when you have young ones with short attention spans! That’s why I’ve come up with this super fun faith based easter story cube game, in a free printable version for you and your family to enjoy doing over the easter holidays!
Encouragement before you grab your free printable
Before you grab the free printable I’d love to encourage you with a few Bible verses about family and bringing faith into your home.
My guess is that you are a parent, teacher, or close relative to children. And you’re trying to share the story of Easter with them. It can be hard to sit children down and teach them about what’s in the Bible.
But I’ve found that as long as you bring a fun aspect to it, and a goal, most children are eager to join in the fun of learning about the stories in the Bible!
Take a look at these Bible verses
In 3 John 1:4 it says, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” Amen to that! Raising your children up in the Lord (whether you’re a teacher, parent, or caring adult with children in your life) is a huge responsibility, but its also the most rewarding thing to see.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” I love to think about this verse and apply it in my daily life as I raise my children.
Speaking about Jesus and His love, or God and his beautiful creation, are things I talk about constantly around my children as we go about our day. They are raised knowing God is all around them and loves them so much.
Proverbs 20:11-12 reminds us that “Even young people are known by their actions, whether their conduct is pure and upright. Ears to hear and eyes to see — the Lord made them both.” This verse is a great reminder that no child is perfect. And because of this, we as adults need to remember children will lie, disobey, and act out. But that doesn’t mean something is wrong with them or that they are far from God. It only means they are human.
I hope you enjoy this fun cube game, let me know in the comments how the children in your life enjoyed it!
