Novembers book review is a long time favourite of mine. If you own this book or have read it I bet you’ll agree. If you don’t already own it, I highly suggest you go out and buy it! It deserves a place on every homesteaders resource library.

Favourites about the book:
1: The writing. Eliot Coleman has a way in which he writes. It’s very poetic and romantic. It inspires readers and energizes the heart. You don’t feel like your reading any old how to book, you feel like your seeing into the authors heart behind the book with every word he says. Its so clear that gardening is Eliot’s passion in life!
2: The amount of visuals. The book is filled with high resolution pictures, charts, graphs and more to help give insight into what he is talking about or explaining throughout the book.
3: Experience. Eliot coleman has been gardening for over 50 years! Fine tuning his work, inventing new things and always seeking to learn and to educate. That’s priceless in my opinion.
