Meet the founder of FHS, whos passion for homesteading began at the age of 5:
“I created the Faithful Homesteader Society because I’m passionate about helping women succeed, achieve and conquer in their homes. Cultivating their home with love and joy, being in tune with God and the blessings He has for us.
I myself am a homesteader with my family of 6. We live in the canadian wilderness, way back in the woods completely off the grid. We farm, garden, build, make and make do. And although this exact property we live on now is somewhat new to us (moved here in 2021) the wilderness/homesteading life is not new to me. I’ve been living in these woods my entire life, in tune with the land, and in tune with God!
Growing up I lived in the woods with my family who did pretty much exactly what I’m currently doing. My parents bought their “forever” land, cleared it by hand, lived intentionally and simply, and built their own homestead.
At 18 I was married and became the caretaker of my own “home” (camper on a piece of rented land LOL) I canned, gardened, raised pigs and chickens, and so much more on that little piece of property. After that we built our tiny house on wheels and lived in that for a few years, and then moved to our adorable old farmhouse. The old farmhouse was such a sweet little homestead!
Now we’re back to where my earliest memories began; making a go of it in the woods. And with a lifetime of living this life, I want to share it with others!” -Micheon

Connect, commun & learn together through ongoing chat groups where you can ask questions about all things homemaking/homesteading, troubleshooting, or just chat with likeminded women. Monthly Zoom meetups and live online classes are full of purposeful education on the months themed content.

In FHS we believe in cutting out the “fluff” and getting right down to the good stuff. You can gain a firm understanding, educated teaching, and great resources with each course bundle!
Bible Studies & Prayer groups
Dive into God’s word and grow with one another! These Bible studies are rooted in the Bible and are filled with truth and Gods light! Each Bible study will have its own prayer support group for the duration of the study. We can all sit at the foot of the cross and give our worries, requests, and our praises to The Lord.

The FHS Recipe Book
The FHS recipe book is tailored for the homestead kitchen. Recipes that compliment farm raised meats and veggies, is heavy on the dairy and eggs, and encourages whole healthy foods! The FHS recipe book is always growing and is a great resource!
